But that’s exactly what this man has done.

He has created something that is both absurd and awesome, and he put a lot of effort into making it. The amazing nitro V8 engine drill was invented by YouTuber Tim Welds.

Tim is a mechanical and welding engineer by profession, but his Instagram bio says he “likes tools and makes things”.

Tim admits that this is probably the craziest thing he has ever made. The drill with a V8 engine is not like the ones you see in cars, though.

What makes it special

It’s actually a miniature V8 engine with overhead camshafts, a complete valve train, and two carburettors on top. It also has all the extra features, like a radiator and modules to run the glow plugs that ignite the nitromethane.

Tim said it was not easy to get the nitro V8 engine drill working, but once he did, he said it was incredible.

He was not the only one who was impressed by the strange creation, either.
